A Look Inside The 2017 Hyundai Elantra

What gives the redesigned 2017 Hyundai Elantra that just-showered look and feel? Highlighted by three new engines, swank interior trims, and a slew of new driver-assist tech and systems, the all-new Elantra is as impressive as ever. Its biggest selling point is the cabin, which is criminally attractive and spacious. From the well-designed central stack to the clutter-free instrument cluster, the interior of the all-new Elantra is destined to become the standard by which all other midsize sedans follow.

Here’s more of what you can expect from the Elantra when you come in for a test drive at our car dealership in Columbia, SC.

The Elantra’s Excellence in Four Trims

For 2017, the Hyundai Elantra is available in four outstanding trims: SE, Eco, Limited, and Sport.

The Hyundai Elantra SE comes with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces 147 horsepower. You’ll also find standard 15-inch wheels, 60/40-split rear seats, satellite radio, and power accessories in the SE. Upgraded packages include optional features like Bluetooth connectivity, alloy wheels, heated side-view mirrors, automatic headlamps, rearview camera, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, LED daytime running lights, keyless entry and start, hands-free trunk, sunroof, and an advanced 7-inch touchscreen display.

For budget-conscious car shoppers, the Elantra SE with an upgraded package is the model we recommend. You get all the comforts and tech that are indispensable in this day and age, as well as a perky engine and superb tires that respond healthily to all types of road conditions. And don’t forget to ask us about our current Elantra specials and incentives.

The Elantra Eco utilizes a fuel-efficient 1.4-liter engine that makes 128 horsepower. Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, automatic headlight controls, heated front seats, push-button start, dual automatic climate controls, and an auto defogging system are features available or standard in the Eco. Drivers who put a premium on fuel economy would do best with the Elantra Eco and its estimated 40 mpg highway.

In the Limited trim, the Elantra steps up its game by adding 17-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, chrome trim, adaptive xenon headlights, power driver’s seats, additional USB ports, and LED taillights. Opt for a package, and you can add a sunroof, heated rear seats, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen, eight-speaker Infinity audio system, navigation with voice commands, adaptive cruise control, and driver-sear memory.

At the top of the lineup is the Elantra Sport, which is equipped with a turbo 1.6L four-cylinder that makes 201 horsepower. It also comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned brakes and suspension, alloy pedals, black headliner, and a flurry of athletic exterior stylings. The 2017 Elantra Sport is best for those who like a little more pep in their step without giving up all the interior comforts that make the Elantra so appealing.
